En apenas unos días se cumplirán tres años de la publicación de Del mito al laboratorio. Resumir la 'explosión cámbrica' que ha supuesto en mi vida tras su materialización sería muy largo de contar, aunque en la web de Cálamo hay algunas referencias, por si a alguien le interesa echar un vistazo al recorrido que ha llevado este ensayo.
Lo que nunca pude imaginar es que Del mito al laboratorio fuera inspirador de una exposición física y concreta. Y en un espacio tan emblemático como la Comicteca de la Biblioteca Regional de Murcia.
Participan figuras de renombre nacional e internacional como Daniel Acuña, Juan Álvarez y Jorge G., David Cantero, Juan Castaño, Fernando Dagnino, Diana Escribano, Salva Espín, Ana Galvañ, Virginia García, Miguel Herráiz, Magius, Sonia Matas, José David Morales, Carlos Morote, David Navarro e Ilu Ros, quienes han dibujado a una divinidad clásica y a su equivalente en el mundo de los superhéroes, así como referencias a los elementos de las ciencia y la tecnología que han sido bautizados en relación con esa divinidad. Cada panel va acompañado de cartelas explicativas con los orígenes en la mitología, la explicación sobre el superhéroe y la relativa a las ciencia.
La idea original de Divina Ciencia, ha sido del gran Vicente Funes, motor responsable de la Comicteca, al que agradezco enormemente su genialidad creativa y organizativa. La exposición se podrá visitar hasta febrero. Una vez clausurada, se pondrá a disposición de colegios, bibliotecas y centros culturales que la soliciten.
En resumen, que no puedo estar más contento por esta extensión tan maravillosa de mi libro hacia un género, el de la ilustración y el cómic, que me fascina. :)
